About the Business

Country Wide Moving and Storage is a top rated moving and storage service based in Saskatoon, SK. Country Wide's roots can be traced back to the early 1900's when current owner, Cam Carswell's, great grandfather started a drayage company in Melfort, SK. Cam's grandfather took over operations in the 40's and expanded the business to include local moving by horse and wagon. He purchased his first truck in the early 50's and in the 60's started long distance moving within the province of Saskatchewan. In the early 70's, Carswell Moving & Storage became an agent for Allied Van Lines.

Cam worked in the business and became a partner in 1980 when we expanded to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In 1987, Cam opened a branch in Saskatoon. In 1993 Cam and his uncle parted company and this resulted in a name change to Country Wide Moving & Storage. We are the only Allied Van Lines agent in Saskatchewan. We are also the largest international moving and storage service in Saskatchewan.
