Cothron's Security Professional was started by Olen Cothron after returning from World war II. Mr Cothron started the company as a small locksmith and bicycle repair kiosk in downtown Austin. The company has expanded to what it is today, a complete security company. To this day Cothron's is a locally family owned and operated company.

Cothron's has a extensive electronic security division that handles Burglar Alarm system installation and sales, Home Automation, CCTV, and Access Control. We are also a door and frame company and can install/repair Wood, Hollow metal, and steel doors, as well as aluminum store front doors and frames.

Dom was born Montreal. He got his first locksmith job when he was 21, right after he got out of the military. He was a road tech for 16 years, and even used to run his own locksmith company. Dom has been at Cothron's since 2013. In his off-time, he enjoys woodworking, building things like tables, desks, etc. You might catch him at a bowling alley tearing up the lanes!
