Coppi has proved to be hugely popular since opening in the cutural and buzzing hub of the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast city centre in 2012. It is named after the famous Italian cyclist, Fausto Coppi, marrying the owners love of great Italian style food and cycling.

Right in the heart of Belfast's buzzing Cathedral Quarter, Coppi is Belfast's first cichetti bacari/restaurant inspired by those found in Venice and named after cycling legend Angelo Fausto Coppi. Open seven days a week Coppi specialises in simple Italian classics big on flavour and offers a range of cichetti (Italian style tapas), starters, main courses, pizzette and pasta freshly made daily. Try the Steak Florentine, a signature dish using Himalayan Salt Aged Beef from premium local supplier Hannon Meats. Coppi's bar area offers counter seating and is perfect for a light lunch or a casual evening meal, whilst the spacious restaurant area is able to cope with parties of all sizes. The restaurant also boasts an outdoor heated seating area for those sunny days. With an extensive and quirky wine list, Italian beers Peroni and Moretti served alongside a selection of local craft beers, and a delicious selection of cocktails Coppi is the perfect spot for a night out. Both had a wealth of experience in their own fields, Tony as an Executive Chef, most recently having been at the helm of the Beannchor group including Belfast's The Merchant Hotel, and Andrea's background includes both restaurant and sales & marketing management. Coppi was born in 2012 and has gone from strength to strength, gaining a huge fan base and rave reviews from diners and restaurant critics alike....
