About the Business

It was originally a to-go Chinese restaurant with a focus on serving Americanized Chinese food. In 2017, Wendy Li, who was born in Harbin, bought the restaurant and decided to bring her hometown's staple dishes to Portland. It was a first in Portland. The restaurant was a success and nominated as Portland's top 40 restaurants in 2018.

Established in 1949.

Chin’s Kitchen

Specialties

Chin’s kitchen is famous for its northeastern style dumplings and house made noodles. We were featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Dine-ins, and Dives episode, “From authentic to inventive”. It’s our pleasure to serve Portland with many delicious dishes originated from Heilongjiang, which is northeastern part of China.
