Chef Chu's opened its doors in 1970 as a small take-out operation. Over the years, due mainly to the dedication & passion of owner Chef Lawrence Chu, the restaurant has become one of the Peninsula's favorite family destinations.

Chef Chu's specializes in four gastronomical cuisines of China - Szechuan, Hunan, Beijing and Canton. Over its 40 years of operation, it has a devoted following for its home-made potstickers, spicy Szechuan stir-fries, and one of the best Peking Ducks on the Peninsula. We would be remiss if we didn't mention their legendary Mai Tai's which you will have to experience for yourself.
