About the Business
Restaurateurs Tony Foreman and Chef Cindy Wolf moved their Savannah operation to Harbor East in 1997, establishing Charleston in Baltimore's burgeoning waterfront neighborhood. After an extensive redesign in 2005, Charleston reopened to reveal a striking décor and transformed dining style. Highly acclaimed and award-winning, Charleston has helped introduce Baltimore as an emerging force in the world of fine wine and dining, engaging both regional and international influences.

Charleston offers an extensive prix fixe menu from which guests choose between three and six courses and are served in the tasting order they prefer. Desserts are always offered on the house. The tasting menu approach encourages guests to explore with the same spontaneous creativity found in Chef Wolf's kitchen. The 600+ label wine list showcases some of the very finest wines, with excellent wine values from all over the world in a continually evolving list. All members of the staff are highly skilled in providing gracious and warm hospitality in Charleston's own particular style of "seamless service." The restaurant entertains a wide range of guests equally well: business diners, social diners, celebrations and big occasions as well as diners from outside the area visiting Baltimore for personal and professional reasons.
