About the Business
Cathay Garden was established over thirty years ago with customers still eating here after such a long period! My grandfather and father created the restaurant, creating a family business together with a few other restaurants opened too, 1975 in Scarisbrick and 1988 in Formby.
Cathay Garden is highly regarded and reputable for providing a quality service and serving the highest possible meat and seafood that can be sourced locally. By choosing the highest quality ingredients, we believe we can create the best tasting food possible by not holding back.
Due to the recognition of the quality of food, we were honoured to serve royal guests, Prince Charles and Lady Diana as they were participating in the Grand Opening of the Chinese Community in Liverpool.
