About the Business

After running physiotherapy clinics here on the North Shore for the past 20 years, we designed Canopy as a place where practitioners of several disciplines could work in community to benefit the patient's overall health. We believe the integrated model to be the future of healthcare here in Canada, and certainly in Vancouver. The response from practitioners and patients has been phenomenal, and we look forward to serving the North Shore population well into the future.

Michael has 35 years of orthopaedic experience and has been working as a Physiotherapist on the North Shore for 29 years. Michael holds a post-graduate certificate in Medical Acupuncture from the University of Alberta. He lectures at UBC in the field of gait analysis and orthotic prescription and is experienced in the evaluation and fabrication of custom braces for knees and elbows.
