Caliente is a brand that has been developed by serial entrepreneur, John Mason. Born and bred locally to the area and having travelled around Europe, John decided to bring back the heat and passion of Spain to Burton upon Trent. Based in the old Blue Posts public house, the building alone has an amazing history to it. Having been a known watering hole of L.S.Lowry and featured in his painting "The Crossing" it is a symbol of the brewing history to which Burton is famous for.

Midland Classic was launched in 2004 as an alternative mode of transport to rival local bus company, Arriva. Continuing on with the success of this first venture, John became Head of New Business at Bristol Film and Animation Studios where he worked alongside some of the biggest names in film and television.
