About the Business

Caledonian Moving & Storage was set up to offer Glasgow a high quality, family run removals company.

The company started out as a furniture delivery specialist delivering furniture from retailers and manufactures to their customers. IT was set-up to fill a gap for a high quality furniture distribution service in the Glasgow area, as most of this type of work was being carried out by 'man with a van' to a poor standard.

Our reputation quickly spread throughout the industry and in just one year the company operated a fleet of 11 vans and rented a small warehouse in Glasgow to offer furniture storage and warehousing services to existing and new clients.

There was a similar gap in the market for a high quality removals company. It was either big and expensive, or small and unreliable, we realised there was a market in the middle. Caledonian Moving & Storage was born to service people looking for a good, reputable local mover, offering service, piece of mind and great value for money.
