burger republic was founded in 2013 over a bowl of paella, a couple of bottles of red and a mutual desire to get back into the local adelaide food scene. having watched (and sampled) the burger mania that was sweeping the city, we knew that we could bring something fresh and unique to adelaide. with our backgrounds in both front of house hospitality and years of experience in the kitchen, it felt like a match made in burger heaven. after much discussion, a few beers and more burger research (aka eating) our plan was formulated. we found our awesome location in hyde park, developed the burger republic homemade recipes and sourced all local providers for our burgers. and within a few months, voila, burger republic was formed. and so far, so good. as foodies we love what we do and we love meeting and chatting with our customers, some of whom have already become regulars. so come down to king william road and give one of our amazing burgers a try.

we are a local, south australian burger joint located on king william road, hyde park. all our burgers are made from free range south aussie angus aged beef, our poultry and pork products are natural, free range from ethical producers. our buns are made locally and our cheese & salad are sourced from farmers markets. majority of sauces are made in-house. all burgers contain 80/20 proprietary beef blend, rolled in-house, made to order and cooked medium (unless specified). we have a great standard menu but as we source new ingredients and make use of seasonal produce, special burgers are always offered.
