About the Business

Dr. William Abraham Bell built Briarhurst Manor as a home for his family here in Manitou Springs at the base of Pikes Peak. He was the business partner and friend of General William Palmer, and the Vice President of any businesses Palmer was president of, most notably the Denver Rio Grande Railroad The home caught fire in January 1886 and burned to the ground. It was rebuilt by the Bell's who also lived in England and had property in New York City as well.

We open for dinner at five Wednesdays thru Sundays. Our business office hours are seven days a week so you may call to schedule site visits for banquets and group events which will be done by appointment. Beautiful site for Dinners, Weddings, Receptions, Company Parties, Hail & Farewells, great banquet menus available. A La Carte Dining Wednesdays thru Sundays at five pm for any number of guests, from couples, dinner parties for small and large groups, to banquets of hundreds of guests, we can accommodate your event in any number of our beautiful rooms and outdoor patios. Complete with a bubbling brook and views of Pikes Peak, close to downtown Colorado Springs and just minutes from Garden of the Gods. Located in historic and charming Manitou Springs home of the Pikes Peak Cog Railroad and many other great attractions.
