About the Business

Kristjansson took over the helm of The Round Table, an icon in the Fort Rouge area for over 40 years, from his father, Thrainn Kristjansson, who opened the restaurant back in 1973.  Realizing there was a thirst for craft beer emerging in the city, Kristjansson knew the time was ripe for Winnipeg to have its first craft brewery with a full kitchen, and began plans to close the doors to The Round Table once and for all in June 2016.
