About the Business

My husband has had a wood-fired pizza truck for years that we took to parties, catering, events. Then one day we were on vacation in another city and saw our first "dog bar" and fell in love. I can sit, have a drink, and play with/watch dogs? Have I died and gone to heaven?? About 5 years later, we finally realized our dream and opened Boo's Ice House & Dog Bar. We're located in an old ice house and learned that, in the south, ice houses were put in neighborhoods to facilitate ice deliveries and over the years morphed into open air beer joints. Perfect! We incorporated our wood-fired pizza into this "ice house" concept with the dog bar and Boo's Ice House & Dog Bar was born!
