About the Business

After nearly 10 years of industry experience, Bobby Mack ventured out to build a studio of his own in early 2015. Bobby opened Bobby Mack & Co Hair Studio in the Rittenhouse Square area of Center City Philadelphia. What started as a boutique studio with only two stylists quickly grew into something much bigger! Bobby Mack & Co relocated to a more spacious location in early 2017 with a crew of sixteen amazingly talented stylists and support team members; all of whom are dedicated to ensuring each guest has a one-of-a-kind experience at the studio! While the team and studio have grown, each guest still receives personalized attention and services.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Bobby has a strong sense of pride for the city.  After attending college, his career path changed when he decided to work more directly with people. A big advocate of self help, Bobby wanted to help others improve their self image and self esteem. The beauty and hair industry was the perfect fit.  Starting in 2007, Bobby attended Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and worked at Adolf Beicker Salon during his education.  After graduation he took an apprenticeship at Noel Sy Salon on the Mainline, where he mentored and trained under international award winning hairstylists.
