About the Business

My father, Robert Laumann Sr. and my Uncle Carl Craycraft started this business on a shoestring budget and a dream. When they originally opened the business there were gas pumps that needed to be handled during the day because of their full service status. Another family member, Robert Milligan took on this position. Bobby manned the gas pumps and the appointment books during the day while Bob and Carl went to their regular jobs. After a long day and having some dinner Bob and Carl would then come to the shop and repair vehicles into the night sometimes getting by on 4-5 hours of sleep for months at a time. Finally two years later after building the business it came time to commit completely to Bob and Carl's Texaco. Carl got nervous and told Bob if he would just pay back his 1/2 of the loan that he would give Bob all rights to the business. That was 35 years ago in February and here we are today still owned and operated by the very same family that started this business!

Established in 1978.
