About the Business

Paul Kilgallen is "locally grown". He was born in Manhattan and grew up in Rockland County. Paul started cutting lawns at 14 years old, having mom drive him around in her car. Pauls' business grew to over 60 customers at a time people still took care of their own lawns. While in high school he hired 2 friends to work for him. He graduated and went on to the CIA-Culinary Institute of America under a scholarship. After many years in the restaurant business, Paul had a desire to go back into the landscaping business. He went to work for another company as a laborer and foreman to get hands on experience before starting Blue Sky lawn care & Landscape, Inc. in November of 1997. Paul employs people who are team members that have expertise in a specific area of landscaping, as well as those that have a strong desire to believe in doing work a step above. Paul and his team continue to attend classes, training, and seminars. Blue Sky practices philanthropy in several areas.
