Blue Sky Clothing Company was started out of the back of a VW van at the Balfour Ferry Landing many years ago. Marilyn Cobban, the founder and designer of Blue Sky, has now expanded her business into 7 locations across BC.

Blue Sky Clothing Co is a Fair Trade, Natural Fibre clothing company creating wearable garments for real people from XXS-4X. We specialize in bamboo, but also carry organic cotten, linen, plant-based rayon, and modal (sourced from beech trees). Our clothing is Fair trade; we believe in treating everyone with kindness, and that extends to the people who make our clothes. Finally, we focus on finding ways to make anyone feel beautiful, no matter the size - we offer XXS-4X and we design our garments with real bodies in mind.

Born in Ashcroft and raised in a small town in BC, this entrepreneur has - as she would put it - "worked her living guts out" to bring her company from a VW Van to now having 7 stores across BC. It has been a long journey with many challenges, but her dedication to being kind - to the environment and to people around the world - has never wavered. She is today just as energetic and optimistic as the young woman who started 19 years since she started this journey at a small ferry landing in Balfour, BC.
