About the Business

Long before I started fixing iPhones and and other smart devices I was an audio visual technician for many years. My whole life I have been able to take things apart and put them back together. I'm very good with technology and troubleshooting. But one day I sat on my iPhone and cracked the screen. Since that day I started by repairing my own device and for friends and such on the side. Word of mouth and referrals helped and that's how BK iPhone Repairs started. It was in 2011 that i started doing repairs full time. I have since taken on to repairing all devices not just iPhones. It turns out iPhones are much more durable then every other phone on the planet. Samsung's screens are the most fragile, i end up fixing a lot of them. But i do HTC and LG and iPad's. I also wanted to service all my clients honestly and give them the best value, so I make sure to get oem or original parts over the cheap knockoffs. Many local repairs shops use bad parts, but you get what you pay for.

During my 14 years in the business, I have gained extensive experience with repairing devices including iPhones, Androids, iPads & Macs. I treat each device as my own and therefore offer a large selection of original OEM parts and a 1 year warranty. I'm honest and upfront with my advice and enjoy creating a friendly experience for every customer & going the extra mile. An important element to my business is that I provide the option of repairing phones in front of you - this allows for quality control and comfort of knowing that each part that's removed for the repair, goes back in. I see a lot of broken phones that unfortunately were improperly repaired by others (missing parts, etc.) & understand the frustration that comes with this - I urge people to do their research/read reviews prior to hiring someone. You should trust whoever you will be leaving your expensive device with like you would with your mechanic or surgeon. I've gained the valuable skills of patience in troubleshooting and problem solving and will do what I can to ensure satisfaction. My office is located in a live/work building in a comfortable setting with a beautiful view of Vancouver and the mountains. I also provide quotes over the phone/text and most repairs take 30 minutes or less. Watch and wait while the repair is being done or if it's more convenient, you are more than welcome to drop off and return later. Please book your appointment one day in advance, if possible.

At BK Phone Repairs, I create a relationship with every customer for a friendly experience. I enjoy going the extra mile to ensure you are happy to spread a good word. Our office is located in a live/work building in a comfortable home office with a beautiful view of Vancouver and the mountains in the background. An important element to my business is that I do the repairs in front of my clients while they wait - This comfort of seeing your device fixed in front of you adds quality control with knowing everything that I replace in the phone goes back into it. I see a lot of broken phones that have unfortunately been fixed improperly by others with missing parts etc....repairs gone bad! Therefore, I urge people to do their research before commencing a repair on their device as you should trust your repair technician like you trust a mechanic or dentist or surgeon. I do every repair like it's my own phone.
