Benya Arroyave was born in Thailand, in a small rice farming village. As a young girl, she would give her father Traditional Thai and Back Walking massage each night after a long hard day in the field. With a burning ambition, she left her village at an early age and became the first person in her family to get a University degree. In 2006, Benya's journey brought her to Canada where she further developed her Traditional Thai Massage and Back Walking techniques as well as attaining a Doctorate of Osteopathy Manual Technique and an Honors Diploma in Medical Aesthetics. In 2014, Benya realized her calling when she returned to Thailand to care for her mother, who suffered a stoke and could not walk.  Through daily massage and the healing power of touch, Benya's mother regained her strength and was able to walk again.
