DeLallo's Fort Couch Cafe began as an Italian grocery store in 1983. In addition to the great variety of grocery and deli items, the store also carried a selection of homemade foods and made catering available. The prepared foods section became the benchmark of the business. As the demand for the prepared foods grew, David DeLallo and his father, John, thought of taking the business to new heights. In 1989, DeLallo's grocery store reopened as DeLallo's Fort Couch Cafe.

25 years later, we are still committed to providing our patrons with the freshest food of the finest quality, and we are one of the only restaurants in the area who cook all of our food in a scratch kitchen. We continue to proudly serve the South Hills of Pittsburgh today in honor of our commitment. We are family owned and operated to this day, so stop by and get to know us!

We converted our Italian Groceria into an Italian American Restaurant in 1988 due to the demand for prepared foods.  Our family owned and operated Restaurant has been going strong for over 27 years now, due to consistent, homemade cuisine and our amazing loyal customers!
