Established in 1959 by Floyd Nickels, Automatic Air Corporation established itself as a pioneer in residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating, becoming one of the first G.E./Trane Dealers in Ky. Today, Floyd's son, Greg, is President of Automatic Air, and Greg's son Ronny has been active in the family business since graduating from college in 2006. Since graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1979 with degrees in Political Science and Business Administration, I have been active in the family business, having extensive factory and industry training over the last 33 years. I love helping to make people more comfortable in their homes and businesses, and in helping them reduce their utility bills. I am also active in Junior Achievement, Jefferson County Public Schools, several industry organizations, U of L's Family Business Center, and my church.
