About the Business
Frank and Wanda Lewark began Auto Buying Service in 1970. They wanted to match buyer with seller and consign and locate vehicles, much like what is done with homes in the real estate business. They were located, for the first 26 years, on Route 50 in Fairfax City - between the Hess Gas Station and the Fairfax Raquet Club.
They moved to their present location - Prosperity Avenue - in 1996. The focus of their business is giving courteous and quality service to their customers whether they are buying a vehicle or selling a vehicle. They buy their vehicles from local residents who are either moving, upgrading or downsizing. These vehicles are checked out thoroughly at their nearby AAA repair shop, owned by family, ABS Unlimited Auto Repair. The shop was established in 1987 by Frank and Wanda and their daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Tim Briggs.

We will buy your vehicle whether you purchase one from us or not. We provide a good selection of quality, pre-owned and pre-loved vehicles. Our vehicles come with a 90 day limited warranty and we offer competitive rates on financing and extended service contracts. We purchase vehicles from local residents and have them thoroughly inspected at our AAA approved auto repair facility. We stand behind our vehicles and take care of our customers.
