About the Business

The seed for Austin Lawns & Flower Beds was sown in a little nursery called Bedrock Nursery in Lawton OK. That is where as a freshman in College, I was formally introduced to the Horticultural world. The seed, however remained fairly dormant for about 10 years where after a 7 year stint at UT campus working with College kids, I decided to launch a lawn business which quickly also included Landscaping. Two years later, Austin Lawns & Flower Beds became Grow Green Certified by the City of Austin. Our newest endeavor is to open a new and much needed garden center in South Austin. We will keep you informed.

I am an illumnus of UT from the class of 2000. Although I I was neither born or raised here, I consider Austin to be my hometown. This is where I started my life as as an adult, met my wife and and had my three children. Aside from my obvious interest in the horticultural world, one of my greatest interests is learning about the world as a whole and meeting people from diifferent countries. My greatest passiions however are cultivating my relationship with God and my family. I have three amazing children and a wonderful wife whom I greatly love.
