About the Business

Atlas Steakhouse is a family affair, founded by a father and his two sons. This daring trio opened the Atlas Meat Market with their partner Andre in 2013. Bringing 15 years of experience in the meatpacking industry to the team, Andre, Atlas co-founder and the butcher at Atlas Meat Market, shares the family's passion for providing Brooklyn with quality meats. Now a booming business providing quality meat to Gravesend, Brooklyn on Avenue X and East 2nd Street (387 Ave X), the original shop started small on 18th Avenue (at 1143 - 18th Ave) in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn, before we quickly relocated to our Gravesend location to better meet the demand for our services.

During one of our founders' nightly brainstorming sessions, the idea of opening a steakhouse came up. They already had a butcher shop, quality meat, and a loyal following. Add the family's passion for cooking and Andre's passion for meat to the equation and a steakhouse was the perfect solution. And, with that, was

Hello and welcome to Atlas Steakhouse. We are a mediterranean-style steakhouse located on 943 Coney Island Avenue in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Opening our doors in the summer of 2015, we aim to bring an authentic and upscale, New York City steakhouse to Ditmas Park at affordable prices.
