The Sboro Family have owned and operated Art's Jug Italian Restaurant ( originally called The Stone Jug) for more than four generations.The first generation of owners named the restaurant the Stone Jug because the word stone represented the limestone blocks the building was made out of and the word jug represented jugs used for alcohol during prohibition.When the second generation took over the restaurant it's name was changed from the Stone Jug to Art's Jug in honor of Arthur Sboro,the next family owner.For over eighty years the Sboro family have served Watertown and surrounding communities.The tradition truly continues with the third and fourth generations carrying on the tradition of family serving families.

Steve and his brother, Art, third generation owner/operators, took over the business from their parents, Art and Johanna Sboro when they retired. Steve and Art grew up working at Art's Jug Restaurant and opened Sboro's Restaurant in 1992. The brothers continue to work at the restaurants, along with their children, the 4th generation of family serving families serving Italian and American food.
