Shop creator and owner - Rosie has run the small business Sonoran Rosie for 5 years and after working with the local maker community this whole time and running a local popup market called Desert Air Market she was perfectly set up to open Arizona Poppy to have a storefront for Sonoran Rosie along with 50+ other local makers ! Rosie used her creativity and passion for art & fashion to design a unique shop space that is comfortable, bright and fun! With help from her close community she opened Arizona Poppy in May of 2022. She was deeply inspired by local flora which is where the name of the shop came from - Arizona Poppy is a beautiful wildflower that grows & flowers right after monsoon season and is unique to the Sonoran Desert. The shop has disco and 70s vibes and lots of plants ! Come on in and support local creators !
