About the Business
Anna has a background in design, having originally done a degree in Art and Design, and then specialised in ceramic sculpture for 14 years, before training as a garden designer. Her training in design, and extensive garden knowledge meant that garden design was the natural direction to go in. So after spending 14 years building a successful career as a ceramist, she decided to train professionally as a garden designer.
Her decision to move over to Garden Design was quickly justified when, in 2001, as part of her course she entered the East of England Garden Design Competition - her garden was selected to be built and she subsequently went on to win the competition. Since her success at the East of England Show Anna has built gardens, in association with Gardens with style, at the Royal Horticultural Society Hampton Court Palace Flower show, at the East Anglian Garden & Flower show, and was selected to create a garden on Channel 4′s 'Great Garden Challenge'.
