Having graduated with distinction in IEB Dip. Aromatherapy and Holistic Massage from Bristol School of Holistic Therapies, I went straight into establishing my own practice. My three years experience as a mental health practitioner with the Bristol Wellbeing College also informs my approach to massage therapy.

Alessandra McAllister decided to learn the science of anatomy, massage and aromatics after volunteering taking care of the mentally and physically ill in a monastery in Myanmar, where she realised how powerful the healing effects of simple touch and listening between humans could be, even through a language barrier. Having worked in mental health recovery and wellbeing in Bristol and run Writing for Wellbeing and Smelling and Storytelling workshops with aromatics, she now combines these experiences to inform her treatments. More than just a massage, she believes in engaging all the senses to promote physiological, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
