About the Business

Air Stat was formed in May of 1997 by Dan Gillis. His goal was to serve the heating and air conditioning needs of people in the Fort Bend and Harris county areas.

Air Stat was birthed out of Gillis Plumbing & Gillis Brothers AC, Heating, & Plumbing Companies. Both were long time family businesses that also served the Houston area.

Jim Gillis, Dan;s father, was a master plumber & started that company in 1964. He also became a licensed Air Conditioning Contractor in 1967. All this was passed on to his three sons. After Jim Sr. & and son, Jim Jr. passed away, Dan & and his brother Richard formed Gillis Brothers.

In 1994 Dan met Roy Hollingsworth, who is his right hand man and still with the company. Together they strive to be a blessing to each and every customer they serve.
